My Foresight Education provides interactive, self-paced online courses meant for high school students looking to distinguish themselves and expand their academic horizons before applying to university. All of our courses meet strict standards for academic excellence and are instructed by distinguished undergraduate students, graduate students and teaching assistants, and university professors.
Our research has shown that the average annual GPA for a senior compared to their freshman year is two letter grades higher. We believe one of the underlying causes of this comes from a lack of academic preparation at the high school level. Rather than flatly blame high schools, which work under tremendous constraints, we propose creating an online curriculum that students can take alongside their high school courses and during summer breaks.
Understanding students are already time-stressed, students have the choice of when to complete assignments and view lectures, testing their own time management skills. In addition, upon completion of a course, students will be provided with a Foresight Analytics report, mapping out time usage tendencies and recommending new strategies for maximizing time.
We are working with a number of universities to gain recognition of the skill acquired through My Foresight Educations. Students who take our courses will feel more confident going into a university learning environment and should feel confident listing the courses they have complete on their college resume.
