Funding Goals

Initial Wave of Funding
Goal: $15,000
Raised: $2,500

Our initial round of funding will cover My Foresight Education's start-up expenses: filing fees, website/classroom creation, application creation for Weland strategic partnership, and contracting course creation.  Full budgets are disclosed to investors only; if you are interested in becoming an equity member, please visit our Invest Now page.

Types of Fund Raising

Crowd Funding- In the words of Invest.in, "Because bank executives just don't get it."  In these economically difficult times, raising money to start a new business has become burdensome and frustrating; after all, who has $10,000 to simple invest in one large lump sum?  The answer is not many people.  Unlike investment, there is no exchange of equity and unlike loans, there is no collateral, no repayment, and no personal guarantees.  All you have to do is answer the following: Do you believe in this venture? Do you want to see it get off the ground? Can we improve the educational system? For as little as $1, you can help My Foresight Education get off the ground!

Investment- We are always looking to add investors, whether silent or active partners. While investment requires a more substantial size of capital than the $1 needed for crowd funding, it comes with equity in My Foresight Education -- ownership.

Loans/Debt- You hear it all over, banks simply are not lending right now.  This may be a bit hyperbolic, but it's not far from the truth.  Even the Small Business Administration, dedicated to the development and support of American small business, has a difficult time loaning out start-up capital.  To complicate matter, the amount of funding we're seeking is considered "micro."  When compared to companies seeking hundreds of thousands in funding, that may be true; still, that doesn't make our funding request any easier to raise.
